Every 14th February of the year, men, women, children around the world celebrants the St. Valentine's Day. The day is set aside to celebrate and show love while also remembering the sacrifice of the man behind the day.
In Hansal International School and College, the day is usually celebrated in a unique way as the kids are taught the art of giving by way of making donations to the less privileged like the orphans, special homes, children hospitals and many more while also exchanging gift items among themselves to further foster good relationship and teach the act of sharing.
This year's edition of the St. Valentine's Day with the theme LET LOVE LEAD was unique in the sense that the school broke away from the usual norm of visiting the orphanage to inviting them over for a valentine party.
The party which also involves the students showcasing their individual and group talents in singing, dancing, acting, comedy, motivational speeches and many more sparks up happiness in the children. At the end of the party, donations and gift items in form of food items, clothings, detergents, drinks and many more were presented to the orphanage home.
Receiving the items on behalf of the Home, Mrs Wealth who was represented by the assistant matron could not hide the join they felt by the great honor and singular act of love. She also thank the management of the school for teaching the children at a very early age the benefits of showing love and giving. She also added that if all institutions of learning can emulate this act, the world will be a better place.
